Award Winning Photographs

Photography is my passion and I have am so proud to have received a whopping 17 awards for my work. Its so nice to know that industry experts are recognising your work. While I still strive to reach a silver and gold level and am always aspiring to learn new things I am delighted with my progress this year.

It was only 4 years ago in 2010 when I decided to take the plunge and become a full time photographer. Having gained all the qualifications etc I realised that its not until you actually start working in the industry that you learn and evolve. To this day I can’t understand what makes a picture a bronze, silver or gold award but as I am consistently getting awards I must be doing something right. Here are Archie, Isaac & Keira looking totally gorgeous!

I joined the Guild Of Photographers in April this year. I was not a member of any photography associations but thought that now was the time to join them all. I feel my work is of a high standard and I am now looking to fine tune and perfect it. What better way to do so that by submitting images for critique and scoring by the best photographers in the business? The IOM competition is a VERY high standard and its difficult to achieve a bronze, silver or gold award. They have a platinum one that has in fact never been achieved! So that tells of the task at hand. So I am feeling very proud to have achieved 17 awards since April!

As you can see above I do love my newborn work and they form a huge percentage of my awards, however, I have also won awards for older babies too. Below you will see the beautiful Caleb and Oren who were a delight to take pictures of and such a fun session. I gained 3 awards from that session and was so pleased as I so enjoyed producing the images!

Its always nice to be able to give parents something unique from their session and thats why I have soooooo many props. When a new prop arrives at the studio I do get rather excited! To be honest a bit too excited but thats why I love my job and its the passion I have for my work that enables me to capture such beautiful images for parents to cherish forever! Below you will see Freddie, Reo, Faith and Sonny all modelling new props for their sessions. With such adorable little people to work with its no wonder the pictures come out so lovely!

So to summerise, photography is not just about taking a picture for me. Its my passion and when I enter my studio its to create the perfect piece of art using your perfect little bundle! My aim is to record precious moments for you that you can then look back on and smile at forever. It may sound a little corny but its the truth. So whether its newborn, baby, cake smash or family I’m your girl!

I would love to take pictures of your family and children so please get in touch and ask me any questions you have. I can’t wait to hear form you!

Best Wishes
